Davao Wildlife: A Close Encounter

During our 6-day stay at Davao, we were able to visit several places that showcases the diverse flora and fauna of the region. Malagos Bird Park and Davao Crocodile farm are just one of the many places that gives tourists a chance to know and understand the diverse (and mostly endangered) animals. Personally, it was such a rewarding experience and getting to see exotic animals really brought back the kid in me.

It's really a shame that most of these animals are going the way of the dinosaurs. Their numbers are decreasing and the possibility that we can only see them in books in the near future is high. This is the purpose why I am writing this in my blog. I hope that by showing you these pictures, you could at least stop and reflect on the ways that you can do to preserve nature and to protect these animals..
